But events like we have witnessed for our friends in the Northeastern U.S. humble us and remind us that we are all a community that functions and survives because we work together. Art brings beauty to our hearts and to our homes. It provides a respite from the doldrums of everyday life and provides future generations a glimpse into our collective zeitgeist.
