Gift Print for The Cans Festival- Signed in black pen, lower right, Dedicated in black pen, lower left

A limited number of these prints were given as a “thank you” gift to the 40 individuals who helped create the graffiti art exhibition known as the Cans Festival. This festival took place on the weekend of 3 May 2008. The prints were distributed via the POW gallery. This is one of Banksy’s rarest prints. BANKSY hosted an exhibition called The Cans Festival in London, over the weekend 3–5 May 2008. It was situated on Leake Street, a road tunnel formerly used by Eurostar underneath London Waterloo station. Graffiti artists with stencils were invited to join in and paint their own artwork, as long as it did not cover anyone else’s. Banksy created a gift print that was given to people who contributed to the success of the exhibitions and those prints were produced in small editions. Unnumbered, signed and uniquely dedicated, those prints were not meant to be sold, and are not authenticated by Pest Control Office.
