Original Hand Signed and Numbered Aquatint in Colors with Carborundum on Arches Wove Paper

This original aquatint in colors with carborundum is hand signed in white crayon by the artist “Miró” at the lower right image. It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 50, at the lower left margin. Additionally, it has been authenticated by Rosa Maria Malet, director of the Fundació Joan Miró, Barcelona and dated ’10/IV/2014’, verso. It printed by Morsang, Paris and was published by Maeght Éditeur, Paris in 1978

Note: The Ustashi is a Croatian word that means ‘The Rebel’ or ‘The Insurgent’.
This important and large work rarely comes to the market. We have found it was offered in public auction only 7 times in the past 30 years.
