Why questioning the amount of money payed for art!? I mean, is 20.000 bucks too much for a prostitute, or 2.000.000 too much for a car!?
I don’t know either, but I love the idea that someone out there stands in front of this painting, with tears in his eyes, as he knows where it comes from and in which tradition it was created and how it represents not only the outstanding artist, but also a certain moment in time, which leaves the real art lover speechless, mouth open, starring at the beauty of non-conformity on all levels.
Period
I think i’ve seen this somewhere before…but it’s not bad at all
so many things could be done with this millions ! included, taking the time to learn and make your own art !
