A rare, large-scale silkscreen portrait from Warhol’s late 1970s studio practice. Unlike editioned prints, Vincente Minnelli is a unique work, produced in Warhol’s Factory as part of his portrait series and later mounted on canvas for presentation.
Vincente Minnelli, Academy Award–winning director and father of Liza Minnelli (one of Warhol’s closest friends and muses), ties the work directly to Warhol’s Hollywood and New York circle. Its imposing scale and bold palette give it the presence of a painting, making it a standout opportunity for Warhol collectors.
