Mr. Brainwash comes out with some REALLY unique works which reminisce things we are intimately familiar with. His newest creation, “Silver Beagle” in chrome-painted fiberglass and features iconic comic strip characters in a completely unique way. “Beagle” is 90.2cm tall sculpture is an edition of 8 examples worldwide each slightly unique to the next.

These sculptures obviously reminisce famous comic strip characters, but also are evocative of Jeff Koons’ Balloon animals and KAWS’ sculptures.

Of course, Jeff Koons Balloon “Rabbit” sold for $91M at auction in 2019. While we obviously could not anticipate the Mr. Brainwash’s editions doing the same thing in price, there are ample comparisons aesthetically.
